Answer:I suggest that you contact the manufacturer; just in case he does actually send out two different sized open file boxes. Mine is just what I wanted to hold loose small A4 size card and plastic cased paper files.
Actual external measurements of mine in centimetres are h 31.9 x d 25 x w 7.7
Question:Will these hold the arch lever folders ?
Answer:If it is the standard A4 lever arch, no. It is too narrow. It would fit a couple of ring binders.

I would say no. A4 size folders only. I use pocket folders holding small files. Easy to get to and at hand rather than rummaging through a box file.
